Retail Sales Assistant – Home Décor

About the role

We are looking for a warm, energetic, and professional Retail Sales Assistant to be the face of our home‑decor store in Westlands. You will help customers find the perfect items for their homes, manage stock, and keep the showroom immaculate.

Key responsibilities

• Welcome walk‑in customers, understand their décor needs and guide them through the product range.
• Achieve daily sales targets through active selling both online and offline.
• Maintain tidy product displays, ensure shelves are fully stocked and the showroom is clean.
• Process cash and digital transactions (M‑Pay, card) using the POS system.
• Count and log incoming stock, flag low inventory and assist with regular stocktaking.

Required profile

• Minimum Diploma or Degree in Sales, Marketing or a related field.
• 1–2 years of experience in retail sales, hospitality or customer service; home‑decor experience is a plus.
• Excellent spoken English, confident on camera and reliable commuting ability.
• Neat personal grooming, proactive and detail‑oriented.
