Risk Control Specialist / Risk Manager – Device Financing

About the role

The Risk Control Specialist / Risk Manager will lead the development and continuous improvement of risk frameworks for our device financing portfolio. You will work closely with collections, technical, and compliance teams to safeguard assets and minimise credit losses.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, implement and refine risk management frameworks and SOPs.
• Design and execute customer verification, identity authentication and fraud screening processes.
• Analyse repayment behaviour and delinquency trends to spot emerging portfolio risks.
• Support the creation of collection strategies and oversee compliant asset recovery.
• Collaborate with technical teams to integrate credit data sources and fraud‑detection tools.
• Identify system vulnerabilities and recommend enhancements to reduce operational and credit risk.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Risk Management, Business Administration, Economics or a related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in device financing, digital lending, fintech or consumer finance risk management.
• Deep understanding of the full phone‑financing lifecycle, including onboarding, collections and device management systems.
• Proven track record of developing risk policies, control frameworks and operational SOPs.
• Strong analytical ability to interpret portfolio data and risk metrics.
