Salad Man

About the role

The Salad Man prepares, portions, and presents fresh salads, cold dishes, dressings, and garnishes in line with standardized recipes. This position plays a vital part in maintaining high food‑quality standards for our hospitality operations in Westlands.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and assemble salads, cold appetizers, and dressings according to recipe specifications.
• Ensure strict compliance with HACCP and food‑safety regulations throughout the salad station.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the salad preparation area, including proper storage of ingredients.
• Monitor ingredient freshness, rotate stock, and minimise food waste.
• Support timely meal production by coordinating with kitchen teams.

Required profile

• Minimum three years of experience in catering, hotel, or restaurant environments.
• Strong knowledge of food hygiene and safety standards.
• Demonstrated ability to work efficiently in a fast‑paced kitchen.
