Sales Account Manager

About the role

We are looking for a dynamic Sales Account Manager to join our hospitality team in Nairobi. You will be responsible for nurturing our most valuable client relationships, driving revenue growth, and ensuring exceptional customer satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain long‑lasting relationships with high‑value clients.
• Create and execute strategic account plans to maximise revenue.
• Identify new business opportunities within existing accounts.
• Negotiate contracts and close agreements to achieve profit targets.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure client retention.
• Conduct regular client meetings to understand needs and present solutions.
• Monitor and report on account performance, sales forecasts and key metrics.
• Stay updated on market trends, competition and industry developments.
• Resolve client issues promptly and professionally.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of account management or sales experience, preferably in hospitality.
• Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
• Strong relationship‑building, negotiation and strategic planning abilities.
• Fluency in English and Swahili, with good knowledge of the Kenyan/East African market.
