Sales and Collections Intern

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Sales and Collections Intern to join Tenakata’s sales team in Mombasa. The intern will support business development and collections activities, helping the branch meet its targets through market research, lead generation and customer interaction.

Key responsibilities

• Work closely with Business Development Officers and Collections Officers to achieve branch targets.
• Provide excellent customer service and assist in educating customers about Tenakata’s digital credit solutions.
• Conduct market research, identify business opportunities and generate sales leads.
• Make cold calls, attend meetings and support the sales team in daily activities.
• Assist in accurate and timely reporting of management information and market feedback.
• Contact debtors, follow up on defaulters and help recover payments.

Required profile

• Diploma or degree with a good general education.
• Computer literacy and proficiency with standard office software.
• Educational background in Sales, Marketing or a related field is preferred.
• Previous experience in a similar role or in a financial institution is an advantage.
