About the role
We are looking for a motivated Sales Assistant to join our retail team in Westlands, Nairobi. The role involves assisting customers, handling transactions, and maintaining the store’s visual standards in a fast‑paced environment.
Key responsibilities
- Greet customers, answer product queries and guide them to merchandise.
- Process payments using cash registers and point‑of‑sale (POS) systems.
- Restock shelves, maintain attractive product displays and support inventory counts.
- Handle customer complaints calmly and professionally.
- Maintain accurate price labels and ensure store cleanliness.
- Participate in in‑store marketing events and promote product knowledge.
Required profile
- Minimum High School KCSE Certificate.
- Ability to work in a fast‑paced retail environment.
- Strong organisational and detail‑oriented skills.
- Effective communication and exceptional customer service.
Required skills
- Cash register operation.
- Point‑of‑sale (POS) system usage.
