Sales Assistant – Solar Experience Required

About the role

We are looking for a dynamic Sales Assistant to join our solar solutions team in Nairobi. The successful candidate will help customers choose the right solar products, support the sales team in meeting targets, and contribute to the growth of our renewable-energy portfolio.

Key responsibilities

• Assist customers in selecting appropriate solar products and solutions.
• Respond to inquiries, provide detailed product information and prepare quotations.
• Support the sales team in achieving daily and monthly sales targets.
• Create and process sales orders and maintain accurate sales documentation.
• Follow up on leads, manage prospective customer communications, and update the CRM.
• Maintain showroom displays and ensure the sales floor is organized.
• Provide after-sales support and coordinate customer service follow-up.
• Promote the company’s solar offerings through various marketing channels.

Required profile

• Diploma or Certificate in Sales, Marketing, Business Administration or a related field.
• Minimum 4 years (48 months) of sales experience, preferably in solar, electrical or electronics products.
• Strong communication, interpersonal and persuasion abilities.
• Result-oriented mindset with the ability to work against sales targets.
• Basic computer literacy.
• Energetic, proactive and customer-focused.
