Sales Associate

About the role

We are seeking enthusiastic Sales Associates to join Ikwetta Holdings Limited’s retail team in Nairobi. You will work across several flagship stores, delivering an exceptional shopping experience and promoting proudly Made‑in‑Kenya products.

Key responsibilities

• Greet and engage customers, understand their needs and recommend suitable products.
• Achieve personal sales targets through active selling, upselling and cross‑selling.
• Maintain visual merchandising standards and ensure attractive store presentation.
• Monitor stock levels, perform inventory checks and keep the store tidy.
• Handle transactions accurately and process commissions.

Required profile

• 1–2 years of experience in retail, fashion, accessories, hospitality or another customer‑facing sales role.
• Confident, friendly and well‑spoken with a natural talent for selling.
• Passionate about Kenyan brands and African craftsmanship.
• Ability to work independently, approach customers proactively and meet monthly sales targets.

Required skills

• Basic proficiency with point‑of‑sale (POS) systems.
