Sales & Credit Control Clerk

About the role

The Sales & Credit Control Clerk supports the Sales Manager in driving revenue while ensuring timely collection of payments. Based in Thika, you will act as a bridge between customers, the sales team and the accounts department, helping to maintain healthy cash flow and accurate order processing.

Key responsibilities

• Achieve 100% payment collection targets according to the accounts team’s list.
• Follow up daily on customer orders and outstanding payments.
• Drive quarterly sales volume growth and report progress in weekly sales meetings.
• Monitor stock levels and record sales orders in the ERP system.
• Conduct monthly field visits to customers and submit detailed reports.
• Prepare monthly sales analysis and participate in stock‑take and reconciliation.
• Process tenders and submit required documentation.

Required profile

• Diploma or degree, preferably in Sales and Marketing.
• Knowledge of ERP systems.
• Experience in manufacturing, FMCG or B2B environments is a plus.
• Familiarity with local geography and neighbouring counties.
• Ability to work under pressure, extended hours and as part of a team.
