Sales Development Representative

About the role

Workium is seeking a motivated Sales Development Representative to generate and qualify new business opportunities across Europe and the UK. You will focus on identifying recruitment agencies, employers, staffing firms and other partners that can benefit from Workium’s recruitment and international mobility solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Research and identify potential agency and employer partners in target markets.
• Conduct outbound calls, emails, LinkedIn outreach and other approved prospecting activities.
• Respond to and qualify inbound business enquiries.
• Engage decision‑makers, introduce Workium’s services and understand their recruitment needs.
• Handle initial objections, schedule qualified meetings for the sales team and maintain consistent follow‑up.
• Record all prospect and activity data accurately in the CRM system.
• Provide regular updates on lead quality, prospect feedback and market opportunities.
• Collaborate with the wider team to refine outreach strategies and sales messaging.

Required profile

• Proven experience in sales, business development, lead generation, recruitment or staffing.
• Comfortable making cold calls and initiating conversations with businesses.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and rapport‑building skills.
• Resilient to rejection, strong follow‑up and organisational abilities.
• Target‑oriented, motivated by measurable results and able to work independently while collaborating with a team.

Required skills
