Sales Executive

About the role

The Sales Executive (known internally as an Eyewear Consultant) works in Optica’s retail store to help customers choose eyewear that matches their prescription, lifestyle and personal style. The role combines consultative selling with hands‑on product knowledge and aims to deliver an excellent in‑store experience while meeting sales targets.

Key responsibilities

• Greet customers warmly and assess their needs, preferences and lifestyle to recommend suitable frames and lenses.
• Provide clear information on product features, pricing and services, and address inquiries or complaints professionally.
• Guide customers through frame and lens selection, recommend lens types and additional features, and dispense completed orders with care instructions.
• Achieve individual sales and customer‑service targets and support store promotions.
• Maintain attractive product displays, keep the retail environment organized and clean.
• Process sales transactions, create orders and handle payments according to store procedures.
• Perform minor frame adjustments and simple repairs as needed.
• Assist with inventory handling, product organization and stock replenishment.
• Collaborate with colleagues and coordinate with head‑office teams when required.

Required profile

• Mid‑level experience with at least 36 months (3 years) of relevant sales or retail experience.
• Strong customer‑service orientation and ability to communicate clearly.
• Comfortable working in a fast‑paced retail environment and handling cash transactions.
• Willingness to undergo structured training and continuous performance evaluations.

Required skills

• Basic frame adjustment and repair.
• Inventory handling and product organization.
