Sales Manager – Beauty & Cosmetics

About the role

The Sales Manager will lead the beauty and cosmetics portfolio, driving revenue growth and expanding market presence in Kenya. Reporting to senior leadership, you will shape sales strategy, manage key accounts and collaborate closely with marketing to build a strong brand. This is a full‑time, onsite role based in Westlands, Nairobi.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve revenue and market‑share targets.
• Identify new business opportunities, partnerships and distribution channels.
• Drive customer acquisition, retention and account growth initiatives.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activities and consumer behavior to inform decisions.
• Collaborate with marketing on brand‑building campaigns, product launches and promotions.
• Leverage digital marketing and social media to boost engagement and sales.
• Lead, mentor and motivate the sales team, set performance goals and conduct reviews.
• Build and maintain relationships with distributors, retailers and key accounts.
• Negotiate commercial agreements and support channel expansion.
• Prepare sales forecasts, budgets and performance reports; analyse data to identify growth opportunities.

Required profile

• Degree in Marketing, Business Administration or a related field.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in sales and marketing, preferably in beauty or cosmetics.
• Proven track record of driving sales growth and building successful brands.
• Strong leadership experience managing sales teams, distributors and retail channels.
