Sales Operations Manager - Banking/Insurance

About the role

The Sales Operations Manager will lead the day‑to‑day performance of the sales function for banking and insurance products. Reporting to the Directors, you will provide leadership, coaching and accountability to drive team productivity and consistent delivery of targets.

Key responsibilities

• Own delivery of team sales targets through strong leadership and disciplined performance management.
• Drive accountability and sharpen sales execution across the team.
• Build a resilient, motivated, high‑performing sales culture that sustains results month after month.
• Set clear goals, run regular performance reviews, and develop each team member's capability.
• Establish a daily operating rhythm, including huddles, pipeline reviews and follow‑up discipline.
• Track, analyse and report on sales performance, translating strategy into daily action.
• Lead, coach and motivate the sales team on a daily basis, setting the energy and standard on the floor.

Required profile

• Degree in Business, Sales & Marketing, Commerce, Economics or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in a sales leadership role (e.g., Sales Manager, Regional/Area Sales Manager, Branch Manager, Agency Manager, Unit Manager).
• Experience in the Banking or Insurance industry is strongly encouraged.
• Proven ability to lead, coach, motivate and develop high‑performing sales teams.
• Demonstrated success in driving accountability, improving sales execution and building resilient sales teams.
