Sales Representative – Interior Design

About the role

We are seeking a dynamic Sales Representative with a strong interior‑design background to drive custom furniture sales in Nairobi. The role blends design sensibility with sales strategy to deliver tailored solutions for residential and commercial clients.

Key responsibilities

• Identify client needs and create design‑forward proposals for custom furniture.
• Conduct consultations, advise on styles, finishes, and space planning.
• Coordinate with design and production teams to ensure feasibility and timely delivery.
• Develop and execute sales strategies to increase revenue and market reach.
• Maintain long‑term client relationships through follow‑up and exceptional service.
• Track performance, prepare reports, and present insights to leadership.
• Represent the brand at trade shows, design expos, and client events.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design (sales experience a plus).
• 2‑3 years of proven sales experience, preferably in furniture or interior design.
• Strong understanding of design principles, space planning, and material selection.
• Excellent communication and presentation abilities.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Experience with CRM tools.
• Familiarity with design software such as Canva or SketchUp.
