Sales Representative

About the role

We are looking for a dynamic Sales Representative to join Kaziweza Limited in Nairobi. The role focuses on driving new business and managing client relationships within the advertising, media and communications sector.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and pursue new sales opportunities through cold calling, networking, referrals and market research.
• Meet prospective clients to understand their branding and signage requirements.
• Prepare and present quotations, proposals and sales presentations.
• Negotiate prices, contract terms and project timelines within company guidelines.
• Achieve monthly, quarterly and annual sales targets.
• Build and maintain long‑term relationships with existing clients to encourage repeat business.
• Coordinate with design, production and installation teams to ensure projects meet client specifications.
• Follow up on quotations and convert leads into confirmed sales.
• Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, sales activities and pipeline opportunities.
• Prepare weekly and monthly sales reports for management.
• Attend client meetings, exhibitions, trade shows and networking events to promote company services.
• Monitor competitors, market trends and customer needs.
• Handle customer complaints professionally and ensure timely resolution.
• Assist in debt collection by following up on outstanding payments when required.
• Promote the full range of company products and services, including indoor and outdoor signage, vehicle branding, wall graphics, office branding, digital printing, promotional materials and fabrication services.

Required profile

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Sales, Business Administration or a related field.
• Professional sales training is an advantage.
• At least 2–3 years of sales experience, preferably in branding, signage, advertising, printing or a related industry.
• Proven record of achieving or exceeding sales targets.
