Sales Team Leader

About the role

The Sales Team Leader will drive a sales team within a logbook lending operation, balancing daily supervision with direct contribution to revenue growth. You will manage the full sales cycle from lead generation to loan onboarding while ensuring compliance and a smooth customer experience.

Key responsibilities

• Manage, coach, and motivate the sales team to achieve individual and branch performance targets.
• Identify prospects, convert leads, and nurture long‑term client relationships to generate new business.
• Conduct regular one‑on‑one reviews and team huddles to track progress and address skill gaps.
• Oversee the end‑to‑end loan origination process, ensuring compliance with lending standards.
• Maintain a high level of customer service throughout the sales journey.

Required profile

• Minimum 24 months of sales experience, preferably in financial services or micro‑finance.
• Diploma or equivalent qualification.
• Proven ability to lead and develop a sales team.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of lending compliance standards.
