Security Coordinator – Gigiri

About the role

Eni is seeking a Security Coordinator for its Gigiri site in Nairobi to support the development and implementation of security plans. The role involves monitoring risks, coordinating incident responses and ensuring compliance with local regulations and company standards.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement security plans and objectives aligned with Eni’s policies.
• Assess, monitor and manage security risks, ensuring compliance with laws and regulations.
• Provide expert security advice and support to management.
• Coordinate responses to security incidents, emergencies and crises, ensuring timely reporting and escalation.
• Gather and analyse security and business intelligence to support risk‑management decisions.
• Maintain effective relationships with local authorities and relevant stakeholders.
• Support investigations and security checks to protect employees, assets, information and company interests.
• Monitor security incidents, trends and human‑rights issues, ensuring appropriate reporting.
• Review security audits and drive improvements to local security management systems.

Required profile

• Secondary‑level technical education; a degree is preferred.
• Fluent in English; Kiswahili is an advantage.
• Experience in security operations and knowledge of local security procedures.
• Strong planning, problem‑solving and organisational abilities.
• Proactive, adaptable and results‑oriented mindset.
