Security Manager

About the role

The Group Security Systems Specialist will design, implement and optimise integrated electronic security solutions for a network of operational sites across Kenya and Rwanda. This senior position combines technical expertise with project execution to deliver reliable, scalable and cost‑effective surveillance and access control systems.

Key responsibilities

• Design, deploy and maintain integrated security systems including CCTV, access control, intrusion detection and perimeter protection across multiple locations.
• Standardise security infrastructure and operating procedures for sites in Kenya and Rwanda.
• Monitor system performance, maximise uptime and ensure real‑time surveillance coverage.
• Lead vendor coordination, installation activities, preventive maintenance and quality assurance.
• Develop cost‑effective deployment strategies while managing budgets and resource utilisation.
• Support incident investigations, identify system improvements and strengthen preventive controls.
• Adapt solutions for remote sites with limited infrastructure and challenging environments.

Required profile

• 5–15 years of experience in electronic security systems, surveillance infrastructure or integrated security solutions.
• Proven experience managing multi‑site security infrastructure and large‑scale deployment projects.
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical and project management capabilities.
• Willingness to travel extensively across Kenya and Rwanda, including rural and remote sites.
