About the role

Vast Talent Solutions is looking for an experienced Senior Accountant to join its finance team in Westlands, Kenya. You will play a pivotal role in managing cash flow, ensuring accurate financial reporting, and supporting the company’s shipping and logistics operations.

Key responsibilities

  • Manage daily cash flow and perform bank reconciliations.
  • Oversee accounts payable and supplier reconciliations.
  • Process import, export, and local invoices.
  • Ensure VAT compliance and prepare statutory reports.
  • Lead month‑end closing activities and produce management reports.

Required profile

  • Minimum 7 years of accounting experience (84 months).
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to meet strict deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Required skills

  • Proficiency with SAP Business One (SAP B1) – mandatory.
