Senior BIM Coordinator – Digital Delivery Leader

About the role

Tatu City is looking for a visionary BIM Coordinator to lead digital delivery across its extensive construction portfolio. This senior position will shape the BIM strategy, governance and technology adoption to drive efficiency, risk mitigation and long‑term asset value.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, implement and continuously improve a corporate‑wide BIM strategy, standards and protocols aligned with ISO 19650.
• Author and govern the master BIM Execution Plan (BEP) template and ensure its application across residential, commercial and infrastructure projects.
• Establish and enforce governance of the Common Data Environment (CDE), maintaining data integrity, security and standardized information exchange.
• Direct multi‑disciplinary model federation, clash detection and resolution, ensuring compliance with defined Levels of Development (LOD) at each project milestone.
• Lead, mentor and build the capability of internal BIM engineers and coordinators, acting as the single point of contact for senior management and external partners.
• Scout emerging AEC technologies, evaluate their impact and develop business cases for adoption, including 4D, 5D and 6D workflows.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture (Master’s degree advantageous).
• Minimum 15 years of experience in architectural design and construction, with at least 5 years in BIM leadership roles.
• Proven track record delivering large‑scale, multi‑disciplinary projects and authoring BIM Execution Plans.
• Demonstrated experience managing and developing BIM teams.

Required skills

• Expert knowledge of ISO 19650 standards.
• Proficiency with Uniclass 2015 and CSI MasterFormat/UniFormat classification systems.
• Advanced skills in Autodesk Revit and Navisworks for model creation, federation and clash detection.
• Experience managing a Common Data Environment (CDE) and implementing BIM data classification.
• Capability to integrate 4D construction sequencing, 5D cost estimation and 6D facility management into BIM models.
