About the role
We are seeking a Senior DevSecOps Engineer to join our Core Engineering team and secure the foundation of the NestOS platform. You will work on cloud, hybrid, and sovereign on‑premise environments, ensuring rapid delivery while maintaining the highest security standards.
Key responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain scalable cloud environments (AWS, Azure, or GCP) using Terraform and modern IaC practices.
- Implement automated security testing (SAST, DAST, SCA, IaC scanning) and GitOps workflows in CI/CD pipelines.
- Manage, secure, and optimise containerised workloads on Kubernetes with Helm, Kustomize, and ArgoCD or Flux.
- Own secrets management, IAM, and OIDC configurations to enforce zero‑trust access controls.
- Collaborate with development and security teams to advocate best practices without creating friction.
Required profile
- Hands‑on experience with major cloud platforms, Terraform, Docker, Kubernetes, and GitOps tools.
- Proven ability to design CI/CD pipelines with integrated security tooling.
- Solid foundation in secrets management, IAM, OIDC and familiarity with at least one compliance framework (SOC 2, ISO 27001, PCI‑DSS, HIPAA).
- Proficiency in Python, Go or Bash, strong communication skills, and a shift‑left security mindset.
- Experience with air‑gapped, hybrid/on‑premise or multi‑tenant deployments and software supply‑chain security (SBOM, Cosign, SLSA/SSDF).
- Professional working proficiency in English; Finnish is a plus.
