Senior Frontend Developer (React) – Contract – Hybrid

About the role

We are hiring a senior front‑end engineer with deep React expertise to join a fast‑growing technology client that delivers AI‑driven optimisation solutions for the energy and industrial sector. This contract, hybrid position focuses on building elegant, performant, and scalable user interfaces for complex, data‑intensive products.

Key responsibilities

• Develop complex new features with a strong focus on performance, accessibility, responsiveness, and user experience.
• Build modern, adaptive interfaces that work seamlessly across devices and browsers.
• Integrate with REST and GraphQL APIs and manage state in large‑scale React applications.
• Write clean, maintainable, well‑tested, and well‑documented code.
• Improve test coverage, CI/CD pipelines, release quality, and front‑end engineering standards.
• Lead and participate in peer code reviews, providing clear and constructive feedback.
• Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve bugs, performance issues, and accessibility concerns.
• Collaborate with technical and non‑technical stakeholders to deliver robust, user‑focused solutions.

Required profile

• Senior front‑end engineer who takes ownership from design through deployment.
• Strong hands‑on experience with modern JavaScript (ES6+), React hooks, context, and performance tuning.
• Proven ability to write high‑quality, performant code and maintain documentation.
• Comfortable working in Linux/shell environments and collaborative Git workflows.
