Senior Investigations Officer

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Investigations Officer to lead internal investigations across M‑KOPA’s five operating markets. You will manage investigations from intake to closure, safeguard whistleblower processes, and provide the Board with evidence‑based reporting.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end investigations, including intake, planning, evidence gathering, interviews, analysis and final reporting.
• Maintain a defensible evidence trail and recommend proportionate remediation actions.
• Engage with HR, Legal, Risk and country leadership, preparing monthly and quarterly reports for senior audit and risk committees.
• Support the whistleblower and grievance programme, ensuring triage, tracking and confidentiality.
• Champion the use of technology and AI to enhance audit planning, data analytics and continuous monitoring.
• Drive standardisation through modern audit tools, workflow automation and digital working papers.

• Proven experience in producing clear, evidence‑based reports for senior leadership.
