Senior Marketing Officer

About the role

We are looking for a strategic, hands‑on Senior Marketing Officer to boost our brand presence across Kenya and the wider East African region. The role is ideal for a motivated marketing professional with a passion for the FMCG and cosmetics sector, ready to drive brand growth, visibility and sales performance.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute annual marketing strategies, budgets and key performance indicators (KPIs).
• Contribute to overall brand strategy and collaborate closely with product development teams.
• Manage digital marketing, social media presence, content creation and external communications.
• Design and implement trade marketing programmes and supporting materials for sales teams.
• Conduct market research and analysis to deliver actionable business insights.
• Plan, coordinate and execute brand activations, product launches and major marketing events.
• Support junior team members and foster cross‑functional collaboration.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration or a related field (Master’s preferred).
• Minimum of four years proven marketing experience, preferably in FMCG or cosmetics.
• Demonstrated ability in brand strategy development, campaign leadership and team development.

Required skills

• Expertise in traditional marketing, digital marketing and content marketing.
• Strong proficiency in digital marketing techniques and content strategy.
• Ability to conduct market research and translate findings into actionable insights.
