Senior Network Architect

About the role

Prism Network Solutions is looking for a Senior Network Architect to lead both pre‑sales solution design and post‑sales implementation for enterprise customers in Nairobi, Kenya. The role combines technical consultancy with hands‑on delivery, ensuring that customer requirements are translated into secure, scalable and resilient network solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Engage with customers to gather business and technical requirements through workshops and site assessments.
• Develop high‑level and detailed solution architectures, technical proposals, statements of work, bills of materials and implementation plans.
• Lead technical presentations, proof‑of‑concepts and support RFP/RFQ responses.
• Provide effort estimates, risk assessments and roadmap guidance in collaboration with account managers.
• Design, deploy and validate enterprise network, data‑center and cloud networking infrastructures.
• Create detailed design documents, runbooks and as‑built documentation; conduct migration planning and execution.
• Troubleshoot complex networking and security issues and support managed‑services escalations.

Required profile

• Proven experience designing and implementing large‑scale enterprise network infrastructures.
• Current industry certifications (e.g., Cisco, Juniper, cloud provider).
• Ability to act as a trusted advisor and translate business needs into technical solutions.
• Strong communication skills for customer workshops and presentations.
