Senior Platform Reliability Engineer

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Platform Reliability Engineer to own production reliability for an AI‑native community platform serving Fortune 100 brands. You will work with AI agents that act as operational teammates, helping to triage alerts, draft root‑cause analyses, and apply remediations.

Key responsibilities

• Carry the pager, lead incident response, diagnose and mitigate production degradations, and restore service.
• Design, build, and refine autonomous AI agents for pre‑triage, change‑gate validation, auto‑healing, and RCA drafting.
• Ensure every production change passes quality gates with validated rollback plans.
• Perform deep root‑cause investigations, implement systemic prevention, and track fixes to production.
• Encode manual interventions into reusable agents, runbooks, or guardrails to reduce ticket volume.
• Document procedures and decision logic so future responders can rely on automated knowledge.

Required profile

• 5+ years of hands‑on production operations in SRE, Platform Engineering, DevOps, or Cloud Infrastructure at SaaS scale.
• Extensive first‑responder incident experience in multi‑AZ, multi‑account AWS environments.
• Proven track record of handling significant outages and implementing reliable rollback strategies.
• Highly self‑directed, able to run shifts with founder‑like ownership.
