Senior Procurement Contracts Management Coordinator

About the role

The Senior Procurement Contracts Management Coordinator will lead the contracting processes for One Acre Fund’s procurement department in Kenya. You will oversee tendering, long‑term agreements and supplier performance to ensure cost‑effective sourcing for the organization’s agricultural programs.

Key responsibilities

• Run tenders and establish contracts for high‑value and strategic purchases, setting target prices and negotiating to meet or beat them.
• Maintain the Odoo tender system, provide training, and support suppliers throughout the tender process.
• Prepare and update an annual tender calendar, monitor contract expiry dates and execute timely renewals.
• Analyse market trends, identify cost‑saving opportunities and advise management on pricing risks.
• Organise supplier meetings, conduct bi‑annual evaluations and develop performance improvement plans.
• Manage up to two direct reports, conduct performance reviews and provide coaching.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Law, Procurement & Supply Chain or related field.
• Minimum 3 years experience in contracts or legal operations, preferably in procurement.
• Proven ability to work cross‑functionally with legal, finance and operations teams.
• Strong understanding of contract law, SLAs and commercial risk.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Odoo procurement/tender module.
• Data analysis and reporting skills.
