Senior Relationship Manager Custody Services

About the role

The Senior Relationship Manager Custody Services will lead the acquisition and growth of client relationships for KCB Group’s global custody business. The role focuses on expanding market share, achieving profitability targets, and delivering high‑level client satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Source new business and expand existing client relationships in the global custody segment.
• Achieve assigned financial and business growth targets.
• Maintain client satisfaction, retain accounts, and identify repeat and new business opportunities.
• Manage a designated portfolio through continuous reviews and needs identification.
• Provide account information, resolve queries, and coordinate problem resolution with specialised units.
• Review and negotiate contracts with current and potential clients.
• Prepare tenders and presentations for business opportunities.
• Ensure client KYC/AML documentation is current and manage associated risks.
• Attend client meetings, AGMs, and new‑business pitches; present solutions as required.
• Submit custody reports within SLA timelines and resolve audit matters.
• Oversee billing and revenue collection for custody services rendered.

Required profile

• University degree from a recognised institution.
• Capital Markets Program Certification (CISI) – at least Level 1.
• Trustee Development Program Certification (TDPK).
• Minimum seven years of banking experience, including three years in bank operations.
• At least five years in relationship management for local or global custody services.
• Proven stakeholder‑management and business‑tender processing experience.
• Strong problem‑solving, emotional‑intelligence, persuasion, and communication abilities.
