Senior SDET – AI‑augmented Test Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a Senior SDET who blends proven automation expertise with a strong appetite for generative AI‑powered workflows. You will use tools such as Claude Code, Cursor and the OpenAI API daily to build smarter test systems, catch defects faster and elevate overall quality.

Key responsibilities

• Design AI‑augmented test architectures that generate scenarios, detect edge cases and accelerate root‑cause analysis.
• Engineer and scale Selenium WebDriver frameworks in Python, Java or JavaScript, delivering fast, deterministic cross‑browser regression suites.
• Embed quality gates into CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps) to prevent defective code from reaching production.
• Transform test telemetry into strategic insight by querying databases with SQL, parsing production logs and building dashboards (Grafana, Tableau or similar).
• Partner with product managers and developers early to define acceptance criteria and testability requirements.
• Raise team standards through rigorous code reviews, mentorship of junior engineers and championing GenAI‑assisted best practices.

Required profile

• 5+ years of hands‑on software quality experience, with at least 3 years building and maintaining test automation at scale.
• Deep knowledge of Selenium WebDriver, including Page Object Model design, synchronization techniques and multi‑browser execution.
• Production‑grade coding skills in Python, Java or JavaScript.
• Demonstrated use of generative AI tools such as the OpenAI API, Claude Code or Cursor.
• Experience integrating quality gates into CI/CD pipelines and working closely with development teams.
• Proven ability to mentor junior engineers and drive continuous improvement.
