Senior Security Operations (SOC) Analyst – Off‑Hours

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Security Operations (SOC) Analyst to join Inallmedia.com’s remote cybersecurity team. The role focuses on providing evening and overnight coverage for a major international client, extending the day‑time security operations into a 24×7 model.

Key responsibilities

• Own escalated security events during weekday evenings and overnight hours, from triage through containment or escalation.
• Conduct multi‑layered investigations across SIEM, EDR, identity, network and email security tools, distinguishing false positives from genuine incidents.
• Maintain detailed documentation of events and lead structured shift handoffs to the daytime SecOps team.
• Analyze alert patterns to tune detection rules and reduce false positives.
• Identify automation opportunities, contribute to SOAR playbook enhancements, and develop security automations.
• Drive backlog initiatives, including threat‑hunting hypotheses and capability upgrades.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity and SOC environments.
• Proven expertise in incident response, SIEM investigation and endpoint detection and response.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting abilities, capable of independent decision‑making under limited supervision.
• Proactive mindset focused on operational improvement and automation.
• Fluent spoken and written English for reporting and shift handoffs.

• SIEM platforms – primarily Splunk and Splunk Enterprise Security.
• Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR) solutions.
• Security Orchestration, Automation and Response (SOAR) tooling.
• Threat hunting and detection tuning techniques.
• Incident response workflow and containment strategies.
• Network, identity and email security tools.
