Senior Software Engineer

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Senior Software Engineer to design, develop, test, and maintain high‑quality software solutions. You will build scalable applications, improve existing systems, mentor junior engineers, and help shape technical decisions that align with business goals.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain reliable, secure, and scalable software applications.
• Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code following best practices.
• Build and optimise backend services, APIs, and software components.
• Review code contributions and ensure quality standards.
• Troubleshoot complex technical issues and implement effective solutions.
• Participate in system design, architecture reviews, and technology selection.
• Collaborate with product, QA, DevOps, and design teams.
• Mentor junior and mid‑level engineers and promote engineering excellence.
• Develop automated tests, identify bugs, performance issues, and security vulnerabilities.
• Support CI/CD pipelines, monitor performance, and assist in production incident resolution.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years of professional software development experience.
• Strong experience designing and developing scalable applications.
• Solid understanding of software engineering principles and design patterns.
• Experience with databases, APIs, and distributed systems.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
• Proficiency with version control (Git) and Agile/Scrum methodologies.
