Senior Supply Chain & Procurement Manager – Dairy & Beverage

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Supply Chain & Procurement Manager to lead end‑to‑end supply chain operations for a dairy and beverage business. The role ensures uninterrupted supply of raw materials, packaging, spares and services while optimizing inventory, logistics, working capital and compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Lead S&OP, demand‑supply planning, MRP, production coordination and inventory planning.
• Develop and execute procurement strategies for raw materials, packaging, consumables and engineering spares.
• Manage sourcing, quotations, negotiations, contracts, supplier selection and total landed‑cost optimization.
• Oversee imports, international logistics, customs documentation, tariff classification and container utilization.
• Monitor supplier performance, OTIF, quality audits, scorecards and corrective actions.
• Optimize inventory levels, safety stock, expiry management and working capital.
• Control inbound/outbound logistics, transporters, freight rates and vehicle utilization.
• Drive cost‑saving initiatives, budgeting, PPV, freight, customs and warehousing efficiencies.
• Ensure food‑safety, HACCP, GMP and Kenyan regulatory compliance.
• Maintain SAP/ERP master data, PR/PO/GRN processes, inventory controls and reporting.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Supply Chain, Procurement, Logistics, Operations or related field.
• 8–12 years of relevant experience, including 3–5 years in a managerial capacity.
• Background in FMCG, dairy, beverage or food manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of Kenyan procurement, import and customs procedures.
• Proven track record in strategic sourcing, supplier negotiations and cost optimisation.
