Senior Website Developer (WordPress & AI)

About the role

The Senior Website Developer will lead the design, development, and maintenance of our company’s web properties. Working on‑site across several locations in Colombia, Argentina and Kenya, you will translate design concepts into high‑performing WordPress sites while integrating AI‑assisted development tools.

Key responsibilities

• Set up, develop, and maintain WordPress websites and web content, using Elementor Pro.
• Collaborate with design and content teams to implement UI/UX concepts.
• Manage integrations with marketing platforms such as Marketo and HubSpot.
• Lead content updates, feature enhancements, and functional improvements.
• Monitor and optimise site performance, loading speed, and responsiveness.
• Ensure cross‑browser and device compatibility through testing and responsive design.
• Maintain web servers (LiquidWeb experience a plus) and handle WordPress/PHP updates and troubleshooting.

Required profile

• 8+ years of professional experience developing WordPress sites.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Web Development or a related field.
• Strong communication skills in English (B2 conversational level).
• Ability to manage multiple projects and work collaboratively with marketing and design teams.

Required skills

• WordPress development, Elementor Pro.
• AI‑assisted development tools (Claude Code, Google Stitch).
• HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP, MySQL.
• Webflow.
• Server management (LiquidWeb preferred).
• Integration experience with Marketo and HubSpot.
• SEO fundamentals and analytics tools (Google Tag Manager, Google Analytics).
