Sensor Payload Operator / Technician

About the role

TSC is seeking experienced Sensor Payload Operators and Technicians to conduct maritime surveillance missions on civilian‑registered King Air aircraft. The role involves extended over‑water operations across the Western and Central Pacific, supporting civil fisheries enforcement.

Key responsibilities

• Operate aircraft sensor payloads to detect, locate and identify maritime targets using AIS, radar and EO/IR gimbals.
• Maintain real‑time communication with crew and ground personnel throughout missions.
• Prepare detailed mission observation reports and post‑mission equipment performance documentation.
• Perform maintenance, testing and troubleshooting of airborne sensor payload systems according to TSC SOPs and OEM guidelines.
• Assist ISR Systems Engineers and deliver capability briefings to local officials.
• Participate in both aviation and non‑aviation duties as required.

Required profile

• Minimum four years of relevant military training, qualification and operational experience.
• Experience operating multiple sensor families (AIS, radar, EO/IR) simultaneously.
• Valid US passport for the duration of deployments.
• Physical fitness to perform mission‑critical tasks and ability to travel on short notice for assignments of three months or longer.
• Fluent in English (read, write, speak).
