Short-Term Systems Integration Expert

About the role

Sustainet Group Limited is seeking a short‑term Systems Integration Expert to support capacity‑building initiatives for agricultural smallholders and MSMEs across Africa and Latin America. The consultant will design, deliver and evaluate training‑of‑trainers programmes, ensuring that technical solutions are effectively integrated into development projects.

Key responsibilities

• Design and deliver training‑of‑trainers modules on systems integration for agricultural stakeholders.
• Develop and manage project plans, timelines and reporting mechanisms.
• Coordinate with local partners, NGOs and government agencies to ensure alignment with project objectives.
• Produce regular progress reports and recommendations for continuous improvement.
• Provide on‑site technical support and troubleshooting during implementation phases.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in agriculture, social science, political science, law, economics, development studies, digital humanities or a related discipline.
• Minimum three years of professional experience in capacity building, training design and delivery for development projects.
• Three years of experience working with smallholders or agricultural MSMEs.
• Regional experience (Latin America, Africa or Asia) of at least three years.
• Fluent English (C1) and proficiency in Spanish, French or a relevant national language.
