Site Architect – Landscape & Hardscape Construction

About the role

The Site Architect will lead landscape and hardscape execution for a new civic plaza, ensuring designs are implemented accurately and technical challenges are resolved on‑site. This role bridges the design team and construction crews, guaranteeing compliance with specifications, safety standards, and quality expectations.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee implementation of landscape and hardscape elements, including pavement finishes, sublayers, joints, edging, and planter installations.
• Coordinate with construction teams to resolve design modifications, ensure correct placement of pergola footings, paving edges, and other structural components.
• Validate irrigation system installation, children’s play area compliance, and water‑feature construction, including proper slopes and equipment placement.
• Conduct quality‑control inspections, monitor drainage and slope settings, and report any deviations from approved plans.
• Act as primary liaison between design and site personnel, providing regular progress updates and detailed site reports.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Landscape Architecture, Urban Design, or Civil Engineering with landscape experience.
• 7+ years of experience in landscape and hardscape construction, particularly on plazas and public spaces.
