Site Supervisor – Fiber & Power Infrastructure

About the role

The Site Supervisor will lead on‑site operations for fiber and power infrastructure projects, ensuring safe and quality delivery of FTTX roll‑outs in Nairobi. Reporting to project management, you will coordinate field teams, liaise with clients and contractors, and maintain comprehensive project documentation.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise daily site activities and field teams working on fiber installation, splicing, testing and commissioning.
• Oversee compliance with KPLC standards and work‑at‑height safety requirements.
• Monitor project progress, quality and safety metrics, and prepare regular reports.
• Coordinate FTTX roll‑out projects, including underground and aerial fiber deployment.
• Maintain site documentation and ensure accurate hand‑over to clients and stakeholders.

Required profile

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Telecommunications Engineering or Electrical & Electronic Engineering (Telecommunications option).
• Valid KPLC certification and Work at Height certification.
• Minimum 2 years of experience on fiber optic infrastructure projects, particularly FTTX roll‑outs.
• Proven ability to interpret roll‑out designs and manage site documentation.
