Software Engineer – E‑Commerce (Remote)

About the role

We are looking for a full‑time Software Engineer to join a leading technology company’s e‑commerce platform. The position is remote and ideal for new‑grad talent eager to build scalable backend services that power real‑time user experiences worldwide.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services in distributed systems.
• Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code following best practices and testing standards.
• Optimize system performance through profiling, debugging, and algorithmic improvements.
• Participate in code reviews, architectural discussions, and technical design sessions.
• Collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and other engineers to ship features.

Required profile

• Proficiency in at least one of the following languages: Go, Python, or Java.
• Experience or academic exposure to distributed systems, microservices, or cloud‑native development.
• Familiarity with both SQL and NoSQL databases and performance tuning.
• Strong understanding of data structures, algorithms, and system design principles.
• Experience using version control (Git) and CI/CD pipelines.
