Software Engineer - FinTech (Remote)

About the role

We are seeking a skilled Software Engineer to join a leading global financial services company. The position is fully remote and focuses on building and maintaining core financial platforms that handle real‑time transactions for millions of users worldwide.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and optimize backend services for high‑volume financial transaction processing.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to integrate third‑party financial APIs and payment gateways.
• Implement robust security measures to meet financial regulations and data‑privacy standards.
• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following industry best practices.
• Troubleshoot and resolve production issues to ensure system reliability and minimal downtime.

Required profile

• Proficiency in Java, Python, or Go for backend development.
• Experience with financial transaction systems, payment processing, or related domains.
• Strong understanding of distributed systems, microservices architecture, and API design.
• Familiarity with relational and NoSQL databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, or MongoDB.
