Software Engineer - FinTech (Remote)

About the role

We are looking for a Software Engineer to join a leading financial services client and help build and maintain core financial platforms. The role focuses on designing scalable backend services that enable real‑time transaction processing for millions of users worldwide.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and optimise backend services for financial transaction processing.
• Integrate third‑party financial APIs and payment gateways in collaboration with cross‑functional teams.
• Implement security measures to meet financial regulations and data‑privacy standards.
• Write clean, maintainable code following industry best practices.
• Troubleshoot and resolve production issues to ensure high system reliability.

Required profile

• Proven experience in backend development using Java, Python, or Go.
• Background with financial transaction systems, payment processing, or related domains.
• Strong understanding of distributed systems, microservices architecture, and API design.
• Familiarity with relational and NoSQL databases for financial data storage.
• Experience working with cloud platforms and container orchestration.
