Software Engineering Internship

About the role

Join Tassel as a Software Engineering Intern and contribute to real products used daily by millions of students, schools, families, and campus teams. You will work on full‑stack features across the Tassel platform, from student‑facing flows to admin tools and internal systems that keep ceremonies running smoothly.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and iterate on product features for both frontend and backend components.
• Collaborate with senior engineers to deliver high‑quality code quickly.
• Integrate frontend applications with REST APIs.
• Participate in CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or similar tools.
• Deploy and test services in cloud environments such as Azure, AWS, or GCP.

Required profile

• Graduate, recent graduate, or self‑taught individual eager to expand software development skills.
• Comfortable with at least one high‑level programming language (C#, Java, JavaScript, Python, etc.).
• Understanding of basic SaaS/web development best practices.
• Ability to work effectively in a remote setting and communicate clearly.

Required skills

• Proficiency in C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python.
• Strong grasp of data structures and algorithms.
• Experience building frontend, backend, or full‑stack web applications.
• Knowledge of LLM‑assisted software development.
• Experience with REST API integration.
• Familiarity with CI/CD tooling (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions).
• Exposure to cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP).
