Solar Sales Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Solar Sales Engineer to join our growing team in Nairobi. You will act as the technical bridge between customers and our product portfolio, helping to expand market share in Kenya’s fast‑growing solar sector.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers, distributors and partners.
• Promote and sell solar inverters, batteries and related electrical products.
• Analyse customers’ technical requirements and propose suitable solar solutions.
• Prepare accurate quotations, follow up on orders and ensure timely delivery.
• Visit client sites across Nairobi and surrounding areas to support sales activities.
• Collaborate closely with the technical and sales teams to align product offerings with market needs.

Required profile

• Previous experience in solar energy, inverter, battery or electrical industries (preferred).
• Good technical knowledge of solar systems and electrical products.
• Strong communication, negotiation and customer‑relationship skills.
• Fluent English with excellent written and verbal abilities.
• Self‑motivated, responsible and target‑oriented.
• Kenyan nationality and currently based in Nairobi (preferred).
