Sr. Manager, Global Planning & Procurement

About the role

The Sr. Manager, Global Planning & Procurement will lead VisionSpring’s worldwide supply‑chain strategy, overseeing demand‑supply alignment, sourcing, and performance across all markets.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the global S&OP cycle, consolidating regional forecasts, optimizing inventory, and driving forecast accuracy.
• Define and execute strategic sourcing initiatives, negotiate with global manufacturers, and manage supplier relationships to ensure cost efficiency and resilience.
• Champion supply‑chain development projects, support new product launches, and improve lead times and service levels.
• Monitor inventory health, drive cost optimisation, and establish performance metrics for service, delivery and operational efficiency.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in supply‑chain management, business, engineering or related field (master’s preferred).
• 10+ years of senior experience in supply chain, planning or procurement within a global or multi‑regional environment.
• Proven success in S&OP, strategic sourcing and global supplier management, preferably across Africa and South Asia.
• Strong analytical, negotiation and stakeholder‑management capabilities in a multicultural, matrixed setting.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency with ERP systems, especially SAP modules.
• Experience using Salesforce for procurement processes.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Familiarity with data‑visualisation tools such as Power BI or Tableau.
