Store Control Officer (Limuru)

About the role

The Store Control Officer will manage the flow of goods and supplies for our Limuru operation, ensuring accurate records and timely replenishment. You will work closely with procurement, finance, and warehouse teams to maintain optimal inventory levels.

Key responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, and record incoming stock and supplies.
• Monitor stock levels, trigger replenishment, and conduct regular stock counts.
• Maintain accurate inventory and store records, including expiry dates and damaged goods.
• Issue materials with proper documentation and reconcile inventory variances.
• Prepare inventory, consumption, and variance reports for management.
• Coordinate with procurement and finance on stock‑related matters.
• Support internal and external audits by providing precise inventory documentation.
• Ensure cleanliness, safety, and proper organization of the store area.

Required profile

• Diploma or degree in Procurement, Supply Chain Management, Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or related field.
• Previous experience in stores management, inventory control, procurement or stock management (preferred).
• Strong organizational, analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• High level of integrity, attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Experience with inventory or accounting software.
• Knowledge of inventory management systems and stock control procedures.
