Strategy Planner – Data & Strategy

About the role

The Digital Centre of Excellence is looking for a Strategy Planner to develop and deliver best‑in‑class communications planning for WPP Scangroup clients. You will work across a diverse portfolio, helping clients understand consumer behaviour and translate insights into clear, impactful strategies.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct primary and secondary research, analyse findings and turn them into actionable insights.
• Develop simple, compelling brand strategies and digital touchpoints based on research.
• Design and facilitate workshops to gather perspectives and build consensus.
• Own end‑to‑end strategic ownership for assigned client projects, from brief evaluation to presentation of recommendations.
• Collaborate with data, media planning and implementation teams to ensure plans align with the approved strategy.
• Monitor industry innovations and category trends, proposing localized strategic ideas.

Required profile

• 3‑5 years of experience in agency strategy or marketing roles.
• Bachelor’s degree in Advertising, Communications, Business, Economics or related field.
• Strong written and verbal communication, engaging presentation skills and ability to create logical, imaginative presentations.
• Proactive, solution‑oriented, collaborative and eager to learn and share knowledge.
