Systems & Applications Engineer

About the role

Vyelite Technologies is seeking a motivated Systems & Applications Engineer to support, deploy, maintain and optimise business‑critical systems for its clients across Kenya. The role spans software applications, cloud platforms, network infrastructure and client support, ensuring reliability, security and operational excellence.

Key responsibilities

• Support and maintain business applications and enterprise systems.
• Deploy and configure cloud‑based and on‑premise solutions.
• Monitor system performance, troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.
• Provide technical support to internal teams and external clients.
• Participate in ERP, CRM and eTIMS integration projects.
• Assist with server administration and virtualization platforms.
• Support Microsoft 365 and other cloud productivity environments.
• Perform system upgrades, patches and routine maintenance.
• Prepare technical documentation and implementation reports.
• Collaborate with software developers, infrastructure teams and cybersecurity initiatives.

Required profile

• Proven experience supporting enterprise applications in both cloud and on‑premise environments.
• Strong problem‑solving skills and ability to work directly with clients.
• Familiarity with ERP, CRM and eTIMS integration processes.
• Good understanding of server administration, virtualization and network infrastructure.
• Ability to produce clear technical documentation.
