About the role

We are seeking skilled tailors with experience working with knitted fabrics to join our industrial production team in Westlands, Nairobi. The role is full‑time and offers a stable net salary of KSH 18,263 per month.

Key responsibilities

• Operate industrial sewing machines and related tailoring equipment efficiently.
• Stitch garments according to approved designs, patterns, and specifications.
• Perform garment alterations, repairs, and finishing as required.
• Ensure all finished garments meet quality standards before submission.
• Maintain accuracy, neatness, and consistency in all tailoring work.
• Meet assigned production targets within required timelines.
• Identify and report machine faults or fabric defects to supervisors.
• Observe workplace safety procedures and proper handling of equipment.
• Keep the workstation clean and organized.
• Collaborate with supervisors and fellow production staff to ensure smooth operations.

Required profile

• Craft Certificate in Tailoring, Dressmaking, Fashion Design, or a related field.
• Previous experience in garment manufacturing or tailoring is an advantage.
• Ability to work under minimal supervision.
• Reliable, disciplined, and hardworking attitude.
