Team Leader - Sales Engineer

About the role

The client seeks an experienced Team Leader – Sales Engineer with a strong electrical engineering background to head a sales engineering team. You will drive new business, manage customer relationships and turn technical electrical requirements into profitable solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, supervise and develop the sales engineering team to meet sales targets.
• Identify new markets, customers and strategic business opportunities.
• Prepare and review technical proposals, quotations and solution designs.
• Manage the full sales cycle from lead generation to order conversion and follow‑up.
• Maintain strong relationships with key customers and internal stakeholders.
• Monitor pipeline, conversion rates, revenue and team performance.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Proven experience in sales engineering, technical sales or business development (minimum 4 years).
• Demonstrated ability to lead and coach a sales team.
• Strong negotiation, presentation and customer‑engagement skills.
• Ability to translate technical solutions into commercial opportunities.
