Technical Project Manager - Software Development

About the role

We are seeking a Technical Project Manager to lead software development, automation, and integration projects for our healthcare revenue cycle management platform. This remote, contractor position reports to the VP of RCM & Automation and requires strong communication with both technical and non‑technical stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end delivery of software, automation and integration initiatives, from initiation through launch.
• Develop and maintain detailed project plans, timelines, milestones, dependencies, risks and deliverables.
• Coordinate work across developers, technical teams, operational stakeholders, vendors, clients and leadership.
• Translate business requirements into clear project objectives and actionable tasks.
• Facilitate Agile/Scrum ceremonies: sprint planning, daily stand‑ups, backlog refinement, sprint reviews and retrospectives.
• Monitor execution, proactively address scope, timeline, resource and risk issues, and keep stakeholders informed.

Required profile

• Mid‑level experience (approximately 3 years) managing software development projects.
• Proven ability to communicate project status, risks and decisions to both technical and non‑technical audiences.
• Self‑starter who can drive projects forward independently in a client‑facing environment.

Required skills

• Agile project management methodology.
• Scrum ceremony facilitation.
