Technical Sales Executive – Solar Solutions

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Technical Sales Executive to drive the adoption of solar energy solutions for our clients in Nairobi. You will combine technical expertise with sales acumen to assess customer needs, design appropriate PV systems, and close deals.

Key responsibilities

• Visit client sites to evaluate energy consumption and site conditions.
• Size solar PV systems and recommend suitable components (inverters, batteries, panels).
• Prepare accurate quotations, technical proposals and sales reports.
• Collaborate with Lead Engineers to develop optimal system designs.
• Provide technical support throughout the sales cycle and follow up leads to conversion.
• Build and maintain strong customer relationships.

Required profile

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Renewable Energy, Business or related field.
• Proven experience in solar sales.
• Ability to interpret electricity bills and propose cost‑effective solar solutions.
• Strong communication, presentation and negotiation skills.
• Self‑motivated, target‑driven and customer‑focused.
